Default NEW Complete Art Morrison 67-69 Camaro subframe powdercoated, asembled, double JRi

Item Location (City/State): Lenoir NC 28645

Price: 7500

Description: I have a brand new Art Morrison subframe complete with Corvette C6 suspension, Double adjustable JRi shocks, PAC springs, powdercoated frame, DSE power rack, 1-1/8" anti roll bar, stainless brake line kit, ready to go for sale at an super bargain price. I bought it to go in my 67 Camaro with an LS7 with the dry sump system. I was unaware that the rack would not clear the dry sump oil pan. It is designed for the standard wet sump pans like comes on the other LS engines. I know I could convert the LS7 to wet sump and make it work, but I already have the oil tank mounted and I just don't want to convert it. So my loss is your gain. It was mocked up in the car only and has not been used otherwise. The C6 components were taken from a low mileage Corvette that sustained rear end damage. The arms and spindles were cleaned up and clear coated. The subframe was powdercoated by Powder River Technologies in gloss black. It is assembled and ready to rock and roll. I am located in Lenoir, NC 28645. From Art Morrison, this package would cost around $9000 with all the options. I'll let it go for $7500. I prefer local pickup, but I suppose it could be crated and shipped truck freight at the buyers expense.

Here is the line by line original quote I got from Scott at AME. This quote was with single adjustable JRi shocks. I ended up going with more expensive double adjustable.

Joe if it helps at all, I'm running an AME sub with a dry sump LS7 and factory pan. with an 1/8" clearance, it's tight but can be done.

Ron,

I could probably run it if I had more hood clearance. I'm running a Holley High Ram intake with a perimeter frame carbon hood and it barely cleared on the old subframe. To clear the rack, the engine would set too high and the intake would hit the hood. I could change the intake, but I don't want to.

I added a detailed cost estimate from AME in the first post.

Man, that sucks that you dumped all that money on the whole setup only to find that it won't fit your application! Sweet deal, though, should sell pretty quick.

Dang I'd be changing the $600 intake way before the $9000 frame.

This one is nice and should clear your hood.

That's probably the smart thing to do, but I really liked the setup I had and didn't want to change it.
