Default Air Conditioning for LS Swap into 2nd Gen Firebird T/A

Ok guys... getting ready to do my first LS swaps and I'm having a hard time finding specific info on integrating the A/C. This first client wants to stick with his stock A/C if possible with this being a "budget" swap into an 80 T/A. I've found threads with people talking about parallel compressors and POA valves but no specific info about application for these items

Right now I've got the drivetrain spec'd out with the GM performance Corvette Pulley system so it's using a stock GM compressor.

I called my aftermarket A/C vendor and they weren't much help with info on integrating the new compressor into the old system...they just want to sell a whole new system but they do sell repro replacement parts for the old system.

Anybody have links specifically on the subject?

I have had good luck using the new compressor in a fixed orifice, cycling compressor system. For a Second Gen F-Body you can use the evaporator/receiver for a '79-'81 Firebird. You'll have to custom make the lines, but that's pretty easy. One thing I would do, however, is go with a modern triple-pass condenser and a high-CFM electric fan.
