I've seen a few of those cars at Fred Engelhart's show down here in Elkton, MN a year ago... the mopar powered camaro was there, sounded cool but came in on a trailer (go figure )

Wow, I dont know about the Mopar engine in the Camaro!!! I mean I understand wanting to be different, but there is different, and there is tacky?!

I just think its not a good idea....but its his car, and to each his own.

Default Maybe

Maybe a Viper motor. But other than that, I can't see it. What's the point?

If I ever get rich, just to piss people off, I'm going to buy a documented Hemi Cuda, and a Chevelle LS6... then proceed to swap powerplants

Build a 454 powered "Hemi Cuda" and a Hemi powered "SS454 Chevelle" and park them next to each other at shows.

AHHAHH Aint that the truth!!!

Honestly though, most if not all of the cars there had a puddle the size of a basketball under them... even the fully restored ones had big puddles of radiator fluid or something. I got made fun of because of my camaro shirt, but my response was always one of a few things.

"Thats ok, i still have some money left over!"
or
"My car is still running!"
or
"That'd odd, my GM doesnt seem to have a problem with dripping fluids"

hehe, aint i a stinker

Sorry to post this in multiple threads but I need info on the Elkton show for this year. Anyone know if it's going on? I'm a GM fan but alot of my friends went last year and they couldn't stop talking about how cool it was!
