Default BMX value knowledge....

Hello all,

I have a, I think, complete1985 Haro freestyle master one. Also, the bike has redline handle bars, 3 piece cranks, and I forget the name of the wheels and pedals. I will post a picture later.

I had someone tell me the bike was worth something today...where cam I find an accurate fair market value? eBay seems crazy high..

LOL, thanks for the shout out, Dan.

Ya, that is a highly sought after bike and the ebay prices are mostly real. Just like cars, there's some guys who would prefer to restore it themselves as some really geek out on it and others would prefer it as is with the vintage patina or you can do the resto yourself and try to get top dollar. All depends on time, money and how much you care. The link Dan posted to Vintage BMX is a great start as well as www.BMXmuseum.com or just throw it up on ebay and see what you get.

Big bucks there sir.
Needs some work, but they still fetch good money. People are always looking for these awesome freestyle/bmx bikes.
I bought a 2009 Haro Freestyler reissue with the Skyway Tuff II's.

That reissue and the killer packaging is worthy of wall art even though it would be a tragedy to never ride it. Bob Haro is truly the mark Stielow of Freestyle. Actually saw them both at SEMA last year. Worlds colliding!!

Jason,

Where do I find the year build on the bike? I looked on the bottom side of the frame, but there are no numbers. Also, was 4130 chromoly a special addition for haro?
