Somewhat new to this forum (joined in 2014 but haven't been on here much) but been on many others for years. Just sold a 73 Camaro. Looking for the right deal on an LS swapped 70-73 at the moment...

Honest question, what's the deal with some of the moderators on this site? I've never been given such a hard time starting out on a site with a low post count as I've had here. OK, so I've lurked on here for a while and havent posted much, and now i happen to have a couple parts that i'd like to get out of my garage. Is it a crime to try to post a for sale thread with under 20 posts? This has got to be the most strict forum I've ever seen. I've been on LS1tech since 04 and nastyZ28 since '13, pro-touring since '14. I've never had a single issue with any other mod on a forum. /rant

Don't like it, go somewhere else.

The rules are there for a reason. People generally don't trust lurkers, it's like saying "I've had a pc and been on the internet since 1996, so trust me.". It's just the way it works.

I think I will be going elsewhere. I've been just fine so far with the other forums I'm a member on. I really don't need the headache here.

If you had been a regular contributing member, that would be a loss. But since you just tried to pad your post count so you could post a classified add, nothing lost and nothing gained.

You could very well be a really nice guy, but the reason forums have those posting rules is to prevent them from becoming a classified website.

Good luck in the future.

No offense but I find your 2 cents on this a little ironic, seeing as you're also a member with 8 posts but joined in 2014, therefore a bit of a lurker yourself. And I do consider myself a nice guy but i don't like being hassled. Well since I don't see a delete account option, I'm just going to turn off all notifications and bid this site adieu. Good luck to you

I sent you a pm and made it so you could post a classified ad this morning. Not sure why there's a problem now.
