Default Tanks Inc FI Tank with a Carburetor

This may have been gone over but I couldn't find it anywhere. I just installed my new Tanks Inc fuel tank. I bought it with the TBI pump that puts out less pressure. They say to just run a return style regulator before the carburetor. I'm fine with this but think a fuel log may be a better route. Has anyone installed these tanks on a carbureted motor? I'm waivering between both ways and type of line I'm going to run.

Option #1 I initially was going to do the return regulator close to the tank and run 3/8 or 1/2" hard fuel line up to the motor with an additional regulator at the carb. I'd set the rear regulator at a higher pressure just to get the return then 8 psi at the carb.

#2 I thought about running a 1/2" hard line to the motor, a fuel log with a return regulator returning into a 5/16" line to the tank.

#3 -8 line up -6 back.

Any thoughts? I may be over thinking it. I have approximately 550 hp big
block with a 980 cfm carb.
