Default New Ridetech Instinct electronic shocks!

RIDETECH PARTNERS WITH DSC SPORT FOR NEW Instinct Shock System

RideTech and DSC Sport have announced their partnership in the field of electronic suspension controls for the American Musclecar market.
DSC Sport of Jessup, MD has developed a stand-alone electronic shock system that will be configured, tuned, and sold exclusively through RideTech in Jasper, IN.

RideTech President Bret Voelkel commented: "We feel that electronic suspension control is certainly the direction for the future, just like EFI was 20 years ago. We have been investigating various avenues towards this end for several years…the DSC format has proven to be the most effective format available. We have been testing this system on a couple of our cars for several months with great success and look forward to supplying this technology to our customers. We have named this electronic shock package “Instinct” because of its ability to anticipate road and track conditions and make immediate changes to damping forces."

DSC Sport Michael Levitas commented: "DSC Sport has worked diligently for the last several years to develop this technology…we are excited to work with a company like RideTech who has demonstrated the passion to bring these kinds of new products to their loyal customers. We look forward to working with RideTech on customizing these systems for the American Musclecar market."

DSC Sport was founded in 2011 by IMSA Champion Michael Levitas in order to combine his years of race data and professional driving skills with cutting edge digital shock technology. In addition to the American Musclecar systems, DSC Sport also addresses Porsche, Corvette, Viper, and other extreme performance vehicles with this level of digital suspension control. For more information about DSC Sport, go to www.dscsport.com, or contact [email protected].

RideTech was founded in 1996 by Bret Voelkel to bring [then new] air suspension technology to the hotrod and musclecar market with their patented ShockWave airshock. In addition to expanding to coilovers and other more mainstream suspension components, RideTech has taken the next step into digital suspension controls. For more information about RideTech, go to www.ridetech.com, or contact [email protected].

DSC has been actively doing this with Porsche (rennslist forums) for years and every result/comment i've read had been positive.

Good luck with the new venture.....

Agreed, and thanks! I think it'll be a cool direction for us to offer to people.

Not a problem! I'm sure that I'll receive a more detailed price list after Sema is over.

Does this work with Motorsports can bus systems? We are running a BOSH M4 ABS unit Pro-EFI ECU and MOTEC Dataloger and all these sensors are already built into the car and communicating with each other via CANBUS. Will this tie into those items or will it require redundant sensors for it to work?
