paddle shifter/steering wheel adapter

I am wanting to install the twist machine paddle shifters on my 68 camaro. I have an ididit steering column. I have purchased a flaming river waterfall steering wheel and adapter. when looking at the twist machine web site, they also offer an adapter for 6 hole wheels as part of the ordering options. My question is, can i use the adapter from flaming river, or do i have to use the adapter from twist machine?
