Default Anyone Know About The Jet 4l80 6 Speed??

I am wondering if anyone knows anything about the Jet performance new 6 speed valve body for the 4l80 trans. I am really wanting an overdrive that will handle 1000 hp and 800 ftlb of torque. I really want to see what 200+ mph feels like!!

Intrigued but have no input to offer on the Jet conversion, looks like it goes 1, 1OD, 2, 2OD, 3, OD. Interesting. Didn't know you could have the OD planetaries engaged at the same time as a fwd gearset.

However, a 4L80E will hold your power without breaking a sweat. It's a no-brainer upgrade for you car IMO especially if paired with a good lockup converter.

As far as 200mph... not recommended. Remember our aerodynamics thread? My personal A-body high speed experience is things progress from pretty good to beyond-white-knuckle scary in the 170-ish range... Go for the 200+ experience in a car made to do it, or start doing a lot of aero mods to your car then try it. Make sure your life insurance is current and a properly built jungle-gym in your interior would be a very wise idea.
