Default hello again

I know it's been quite some time since I posted or mentioned anything about the Chevelle or myself. First, the car is alive and well. It runs, drives and has even been on the freeway for speedo calibration. I haven't posted pictures because I wanted to wait until it got out of paint jail for the second time. For those that don't know, we had to make a hard decision before SEMA to make the Chevelle non-operational due to time constaints and delayed commitments from other people. This meant that the road to drivability included almost completely taking the car apart and then putting it back together again. After SEMA, the car went into the garage for 30 days untouched as a promise to myself to clear my head before diving back into it after absorbing everyone's reactions and constructive critism. It was a good chance to redo a few items and address a few amatuer mistakes that were easy to correct. The car has already gone back to uphoustery for final fixes and touch-ups and as I said earlier, is currently in paint jail for fixes and redos. Short of having the car tuned, I'm pleased to say it is finally finished. I've layed low intetionally to keep focused and ensure that I stayed on track with my original intent. The car will still be track tested and we'll also have dyno numbers to prove it's overall worth. We are extrodinarilty grateful to those that have patiently waited for me to finish. I've spoken with almost everyone involved on a personal level and to say that I'm happy to finally be writing this about the car's completion is an understatement. I started the car when I was 23 and now I'm 26. From design to final product, everyone involved with this project has sacrificed greately to see it through all in the belief in me and my vision of how this car should be. Each one knows who you are and their will be a formal thank you in a special way as things go further along. To be honest, this car went way over budget and way over build time. I suppose those are the elements that magazine's and forum's never prepare you for. I wanted to alert everyone to the fact that in the next week we will be fully updating the website with details and info on everything that has led up to this point. The car is exciting...it reeks of craziness and you see it rolling down the street and now that I can realize it's potential, I can finally say that all this grief is actually justified.. Again, thanks to everyone that has been so very patient with me. I promise it was woth it. Please standby.
Anyone who needs to be in the loop please call me.

Keith,
I looked at many of the pics of your car. I am amazed that you had this vision that you were able to make a reality at such a young age! Awesome job! You have a great future in whatever this is that we are all doing here. If you are like most of us, in a few years (or less) you will be designing the next project in your head and working to make it a reality also.

BTW, Persistence beats the crap out of talent any day. Well, most days anyway.
