Default 1969 Mustang Convertible rack & pinion?

I am starting to look into rack & pinion options for the car. Is there anything I need to consider if I am going to be lowering the car in the future? I havent decided how I am going to get the stance I want out of it, but I dont want to limit my options if I can help it.

Also, anyone got recommendations for r&p systems they like or don't like?

I have the TCP rack im my car-power. It is lowered about 2 inches from stock but not super low to begin with. Header clearance is in issue with all systems-there is a drop bracket I used from Hooker and it was fine.

Also hear nice things about a "Randall's rack" Check www.boss302.com or vintage mustang forum-very useful

My brother has one in his car-was in when he bought it. Non-power so no problems so far, but I have heard reviews on all end sof teh spectrum on their units. Some of those mustang sites have guys that are much more technically advanced and done some comparos too I am sure.
