Default Street Suspension

I am currently on hold with my 70 Nova that I was building due to me moving to Germany to serve my country, but I fugre while I'm over here and the car is in the trailer it would be a good time to stock pile some parts for her.

So, I am looking for suspension help first. I would like a good suspension for the street and every once in awhile I might take it out on a track day or two With that said, Should I just keep it simple or what? I would like as many opinions and different set ups as possible. I'm looking at spending about 4k to do front & rear. So I can't get to crazy, but some of you are much more knowledgable then I am when it comes to suspension. So your help would be appreciated.

I know everyone likes pictures so here is a pic of the car just coming out of paint.
