Default Dakota digital VHx oil sending unit issue

Hey all, has anybody installed one of these yet? The oil sending unit won't fit as the sending unit housing hits the manifold. It's a 1996 ZZ3 350 crate....strange problem....

Any suggestions?

Will be contacting Dakota tomorrow (tues the 26th)

Thanx, mike

You can use a pipe nipple to space it up. Sometimes a close nipple with a street 45* fitting is the answer. Not an uncommon problem.

Thanx. Pretty much what Dakota told me. An hour after I posted this, my new issue of camaro performers had the same problem on their '67 camaro. Apparently the nipple adapter won't affect flow measurements...

Thanx for your replies, mike
