Default 5'' Stainless Duramax Exhaust

Hello everyone,

I'm located in the Sacramento area. Long story short I have a 5'' stainless downpipe on my Silverado. I have a 5'' stainless, black ceramic coated kit off of a classic model.

I need to fine a good shop who can modify the 2500 classic kit to fit my 2500 Silverado. I deleted all the emissions and muffler so they don't make a kit for my application. It should be fairly straight forward, a few cuts and a few new hangers welded. I figured I would ask here before calling 50 shops trying to explain what I need.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

That'll be tough due to the legalities to install that. Most the 2007.5 and up guys go with the earlier full exhausts, they're a direct bolt on if you're removing the DPF and cat.

I went with the 2007.5 kit, when the DPF/ option came up I selected "no" not realizing that would be the determining factor on getting a Silverado kit or a Classic kit. Looking back and taking emissions into account it was a stupid mistake. I took it as a option, not standard equipment to determine kits (my DPF was removed). I have a Silverado but received the Classic kit. The hangers are not even close! I would have just returned it but I had to come back overseas and ran out of time. It's a closed course vehicle so I'll sign a waiver at the shop....LOL

Bump looking for a good exhaust shop!
