Default Can I sandblast emblems?

Can I sanblast chrome metal emblems for powder coating rather than pay for chemical dipping by chroming companies or will it do damage?
Thanks

It won't work. I tried to do this in the past and you can sometimes get some of the crome off but then the rest will not move. I even tried it on a junk bumper with a big pressure tank blaster and a big air compressor again some came off and some did not. I then had the cem striped and they came out very nice. I also remember that it was not alot to have the stuff cem striped.
