same one, never got it replaced. He's not real eager to buy the same ones again since the guy didn't want to warranty the one he has. Kind of a bummer, his is an older style bought a while ago, but new to him, the car just got finished.

That is not exactly correct. He mentioned selling me some at discount but told me to think about it and let him know and he would do whatever I wanted. The impression I got was he would replace them if I insisted but he didn't feel like he should...but he would. Just doesn't sit right with me. The one cover is junk thru no fault of my own and I'll be dammed if I'll pay another nickel to replace a defective product. If it was my company I would want any defective piece with my name on it out of the public eye. If I can find another carbon cover I will use it or I hve a new set of plain tall aluminum covers I can put on if I get to the point where I can't stand looking at this cover.

I would run the carbon fiber covers with a big fat sticker of the guys company, And then take it to a show for all the world to see how great a product it is. And send him a pic, that would be justice.

Charley-

I spoke with Dave on your behalf regarding the covers. I think he was confused about how long ago the covers were built or sold. I'll speak with him again, but last i remember he was making a new set for your trouble.

Dave is a stand up guy and his products are top notch. I'll make sure it gets taken care of since you are both good friends of mine.

The Mule? Heck I'd wipe a bugger on the underside of that wicked ass ride (Still the baddest IMHO) just to prove that I was near it. I could instruct any non believers where to find it as proof and be proud of it. I am stunned that a dude would even question the hint that a defective anything installed with his name on it was present and not stumble over himself to fix it.
