70 feet 60,000 lbs 77.3 mph w/diesels

For all you boat people, we just ran a new 70 footer out for a maiden voyage on Saturday here in Florida. Covered about 300 miles averaging 60 mph with 10 people on board. This boat is diesel powered. Each CAT diesel has twin turbos, and twin intercoolers. The boost maxes out at 38 psi. Wish I could run that much in the car on pump gas... The engines are rated at 1850hp each and can run wide open all day. The rooster tail is pretty good size. We pissed off a few of the big alligators. Here's a couple of pics.
