Default dse tubs without narrowed rearend?

hey there i just ordered the mini tubs for the 69....and the g bar is soon to follow...but before it all goes back...i just wanted to see a few pics of what a 69 would look like with mini tubs and not narrowed 12 bolt....and also how much does it usually cost to narrow the rear end....like the complete package...of cutting tubes shorter axles......the whole nine yards...but using mine own twelve bolt not a boughtin setup....ne pics and information on ne of this would be greatly appericiated...

IMHO: Given the $$ value of a good condition, unmodified first-gen 12 Bolt rearend, you should sell the rearend as-is, take the proceeds and buy a new rearend from Currie, Moser, etc...built to your specs.

Yup, sell your rear and order one of our G Bar ready rears. I just did the math this morning with another builder, somewhere in the $100 range to shorten and add the G Bar brackets including the axles, ends, etc. In the end you will save money.

it should exactly like stock.... the only difference is that you can run wider wheel with more BS.. the distance from the wheel mounting flange to the fender lip is unchanged.. so the rim can only grow inwards, and will look the same.. except from the rear

Default stock rear end length

thanks for the replies...i wondering do u have ne more pics of ur car with rear end set up...did u roll the lips also...and how big of lip is on ur car....i think that lip is looking good and might not have to shorten the rear after all...ne one else with more pics of a not narrowed first gen would be great...oh i know this is off the topic....but i really like coys c5s...i do believe thats what they are....but they only come in certain back spacings....i wondering is it expensive to get there wheel and widen it...cuz they dont come in custom back spacing.....get the wheel that has the most lip...then widen it to a 18X11 or 12....thats kinda what i had in mind....ne help on this would be great also....and about the novel i was writin....sorry....thanks....

If you buy a 9.5 wheel with a 5.5 backspace, you can have material added to the inner for a few hundred a wheel. BTW, this is exactly what any 2 piece wheel company does to brand new wheels.
