Default help heater core/fan motor question

just changed heater core in my 68 camaro and blower motor but only getting 11.5v to motor it needs 12 to run properly and one headlight is now dim i think its a ground problem any ideas?

Confused.... voltage to the heater blower depends on the position of the switch. Low voltage = low speed... with a factory setup, it all goes through the resister unit, which is bolted to the top of the heater plemun under the dash.

11.5 volts should be plenty to get that motor spinning fast.

1 dim headlight in a 68 Camaro is very possibly a bad ground at that headlight, tho it could be a number of other things. The ground is the black wire in the headlight connector. It has a ring terminal on the end and attached to the core support.
