Default Malitude Ver 2.1....... winter changes

finished the car last year, had a ball cruising around to local shows, drove it up to Hot August Nights, etc. But I had that affliction I get often, where there were things that I'd do different if I did them again.

After SEMA I decided to do some of those changes. Some mild stuff like going flat clear over the carbon fiber (thanks Anvil for the idea!) and to Scott and Kurt at Autokraft for figuring out the perfect low sheen clear to use. Also wanted to go back to eggshell black on the dash, interior and console, firewall, inner fenders, etc. The dark gray looked great in the shop but look weird in certain light outside. I sold my Forgelines to help fund the changes, and went back to my 17" Vintage wheels. There's also another change I made which shouldn't be too tough to pick out..............

Anyway, here's a couple pics of where I'm at so far. I'll do a complete update when I'm done, and this time it's done for good..............

I love these wheels a lot more. IMO, the other wheels were a little to Bling Bling.

I like the new color. looks more old school.

But, I also love the other color, why the change?

The other looked great about 90% of the time. But in certain light and at certain angles it had a burgundy look that I did not care for. To change the dark gray interior and engine compartment stuff I had to pull the car almost completely apart anyway, so when the painter said "you know, we can change the exterior color too at this point....................... "
