ATS/Petersen oil tanks - what finish on them ???

Can someone tell me is there any clar coating on ATS/Petersen dry sump tanks ?? I finally got mine and i want to anodize them first. The lower parts of the main tank feels like it has nothing on. But someway the upper part feels it has clear coating ??

I have tryed to email to petersen but now luck

Sorry Rick ,cant take no as an answer. I finally got reply from Petersen and this is what they told me;

The tanks can be anodized. If your tank has spun aluminum its 3003-H14. All the other aluminum is 6061-T6.

So i guess ATS tanks are 3003-H14 aluminium, little bit softer than 6061-T6 but still good for anodizing.
