Spoke too soon!

Well, most of you saw my new paint pics. Upon further checking tonight there are some issues in the paint and without writing a book it's going to need to be stripped and re-painted. I will paint it this time, I've learned my lesson!

Thanks John, I appreciate it. I was disappointed that I delegated this part of the build anyway, now I get the chance to make it right! But it seemed like the smart move at the time, being as it was in the 30's temp-wise and he had a heated paint booth versus my un-heated shop!

I see no way to make it now, this will cost me a month if I'm lucky.

I'm working on my 3rd engine plan these days. I've been ripped off on 3 different occasions trying to get my engine together.

Back to paint: mine is finally going in for paint in a couple weeks, so your troubles combined with my previous bad engine luck has me a bit nervous. But I'm hopeful for the best, and I've talked with them many times. So it should go ok.

Does this put a big damper on your power tour plans?

I don't see any way I'll make it, but time will tell. I'm still going to go though, but I doubt it will be with my car.
