Question Which front clip...

Hello guys (and gals)!

I´m thinking of converting my old Mopar front suspension and steering to something better. Swapping the whole front clip seems the "easiest" solution. But which front clip should I use? I´d like to use rack and pinion steering (or good/upgradeable steering box) and coil springs. Because my Dodge is a heavy car, the clip shoud be strong enough. For possible later upgrades there should be aftermarket parts available. No mII! Any help? Thanks!!

I think they are called Magnum Motorsports, tubular "K" member, rack and pinion. Only one I know of for Mopars.

Sorry I forgot the vehicle info, its 1959 Dodge, so there is no aftermarket kit available! (or I have never heard of one) I need a complete clip from a doner car but which one?

Well that changes everything. I would call Art Morrison. They can design and build a front clip for you to suit your needs.

Thanks but I was going to use a front clip from an existing car. I live in Europe , so the shipping is expensive and I guess a custom made front clip is not cheap either . I´m able to do a lot of fabrication but an existing front end is much easier way to start. I was thinking about C5 suspension, or maybe Trans Am or Camaro front. Any comments?
