Carbed LS2 here with Pantera spark controller from Wegner Motorsports. Made 572 HP and 505 LB/FT at the flywheel. What's not to like?

Nice setup, but most likely would go with EFI the next time. Check my sig for pics.

Really nice looking setup Jeff I am looking for an easy alternative for ZZ4 crate engine. How the pantera spark controller differs GMs own (msd based ??) ?

Tyler at ATS has a 69 sitting in the shop that has an LS2 with a carb on it. Give him a call and see what set up he's got. We all know Tyler doesn't build junk.

Good luck

Thanks guys!!!

There seems to lot of choises on the market today. That Pantera EFi had really nice stuff for sale

But still i am trying to find out information of basic gm stuff. Just to keep things as simple and cost effective as possible.

Crate LS1 like this :

GM LSx ignition controller kit # 19171130

http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/_r...talog_2008.pdf

This is just a brainstorming for a totally different project , something instead of ZZ4 .

Jeff Schwartz has been playing a lot with the GM ECMs for the LS engines.
