Default What A Weekend

I have to say that the weekend in Columbus was awesome. It was great getting to meet alot of the lateral-g community. Thanks to all of you that took the time to talk. There are too many to list! It was great putting faces with names. It is a shame there is so much crap being thrown around. The field of SMOY cars was un-believable. I think anyone would be pround to own any of them. I was disappointed with how some performed, as everyone knew what they were getting into. The right car won. It was everything it was suppose to be. I can guarantee the other builders will be on their game the next time, there all too good not to. I say cheers to everyone and I can't wait until next year.

Later,

I must say after traveling 4000 miles 6.5 hours on 2 planes and 6 hours in airports to come from Vancouver BC i wish there was a meeting place for everyone to go, i was glad to get to hang with Kenny , Travis, Marty, Frank, Mike Ring for 37 seconds ran into Roger and John, but it would have been nice to get a chance to meet more people, because honestly i think thats the best part of the "culture"
i would have liked to talk to Jeff about his car, talked to Mike from time machines, Jarred from RRBT jason well you get what im saying?

maybe SEMA

Right there with you, Chad. Had a GREAT time at the show and always love meeting new guys and seeing old friends from the forum and there were a ton of us there this year. I met almost as many new guys this year as I do at the SEMA party. I travel almost as far as Blake to get there 8 years in a row now and even had to sleep in an airport Sunday night and I'll be back next year without a second thought. Best show in the Country!

Great seeing everyone and meeting new faces and making new friends. Now we just have to wait for SEMA!

Good seeing you Blake! I wish there was a dinner or some sort of meeting place like at SEMA (Sanlin Lumber party) where we can all meet and make fun of my shoes!(Damn you Kenny D! )
Maybe we can do some sort of impromptu meeting at the Crown Plaza hotel where everyone seems to gravitate towards after the show anyways?(BTW I get drinks bought for me the whole night for that idea! )

John
