Default LS1/T56 Cost

What do you guys consider a decent price on a low mileage (< 40K miles) LS1/T56 complete set up with all accesories, wiring, computer etc.? I'm looking at buying one right now and wanted to get some feedback.

Thanks,
Chris

The LS1 & LS6 stuff has came down in price considerably. Ironically you can almost buy a complete Camaro or Firebird for the cost of it drivetrain.

So it sounds like $5K (shipped) is high.

That would be the upper end. Make sure it includes everything, belts to tail shaft, t-56 hydraulics, harness, computer and all the accessories.

You can find them on ebay for a BIN close to that.

Yeah, it comes with everything including the pedals. The motor I'm looking at is extremely clean for 40,000 miles. It almost looks brand new.

I got my package of eBay three years ago for $4200. Complete with harness, PCM, driveshaft, pedals and clutch and all accessories. The guy who sold it let me do a list of stuff he would pull from the car it came from.

It had some 40000 miles on it then.
