Default Rack& Pinion tie rod removal?

I have a 79-93 mustang rack & pinion on my car. I bought the kit from Fatman 2 years ago and have just got my car running recently. The drivers side inner tierod went bad already. I have less then 2 tanks of gas ran through my car. My question is how do you replace the tierod, any special tools needed?
I contacted fatman and they were very helpful to give me the part # to replace the complete Rack&Pinion from NAPA. They did say sorry for the bad rack .
Napa has just the inner tierod on line, so I was hoping to just change that if possible?
Thanks in advance for any replies

no special tools, just a large wrench or large adjustable will do, there is a roll pin in the inner, so you need to drive that out, then remove the inner, goodluck
