It was terrible to hear! Jalopnik had an article up about how Lime Rock closed for an afternoon this past year to let him drive around one last time. Great story.

My brother knew him and has worked at his camp for over five years. I took the Camaro there a couple summers back to meet all the kids and it is really an incredible place.

As much as people are sorry he's gone, it'd be tough to have any regrets after living a life like his.

I hope to bow out gracefully after a full and happy life, and that's precisely what Paul Newman did. He left with honor, dignity, and the respect of the world for his generosity and talent.

What more could anyone ask for?

You have to go some time, and he sure did it right.
