Default ? About DuPont Chromalusion Paint

When painting a car with Dupont Chromalusion do you have to first paint the car black or can you spray it over any color primer?

You want to use black on a complete car .You can spray it over other colors for graphics ,but it's meant to go over black.

thanks...thats what I thought but I was hoping I wouldnt have to spend the extra money to buy the black.

last time i priced it out it was like $250 a quart. was way more than i wanted to spendat the time.

I already have the Chromalusion...the black is $207 gallon just for the color no reducer.

The last gallon I bought was a little over $2,500 just for color
