Default what did you guys do about the vents on cowl

i put my cowl induction hood on my 68 yesterday during mockup and the vents that draw the air for heat ect just dont look rite up against the hood/did you guys fill the area in?im thinking of filling it in on each side of the cowl scoop on hood and leaving the vents under scoop of spoiler/what are your guys thoughts?

I beleive he is referring to the body line of the wiper cowl to the cowl hood.

im talking about the vents on the cowl panel dont flow rite with the cowl hood/im likeing the solid looking cowl top/nothing to do with hood opening/thanks everyone

Anvil also has cf cowl panels with the vents deleted. You could also cut out the vents and patch in w/ sheet metal if you have fabrication skills.

Just keep in mind that you will be eliminating your astro ventilation. That is one old school feature I like on mine. It's nice to let in a little fresh air on that cool night. I am going to have Vintage air and it breaths inside the cockpit so that's not an issue.

fill em. it looks really good. i did it on my 69 2yrs ago, and it cleans everything up.
