Default John's 68 "EFIN QIK" Camaro Project

Hey Everyone Im John and Im building a 68 camaro. it was an original Tuxedo black/black houndstooth SS. It will be painted back to its original color.

Mods will be-

Body:
New full floor, trunk pan, drvrs quarter
Window channel repair, cowl repair, new dash
DSE deep tubs
Bedlined
DSE Firewall plate

Motor:
2000 Camaro SS LS1/T56
cam (not sure which one yet)
Looking for some LS6 heads and intake

Interior:
Going with a factory black houndstooth look but with modern electronics like Vintage Air and a Nav head unit. If its within the budget I will use Marquez dash and door panels.

Heres some before and current pics of how it is now. I hope to be done in a year.

Got the tailpan and firewall shaved. Ended up not using the DSE. Also was bored one night and took my buffer to the S&P LS1 mounts and made them shiny. Now I need to decide if I want to shave the drip rails or not.... what do u guys think?

Still need a project name also.....

Hi John Sounds good. I like the name . My vanity plate is FNQUIK thinking of naming my car the same. Not sure how it would go.

I got the firewall done. It was made from a giant piece of sheetmetal. Also shaved my rear gas filler.

Hi John The fire wall looks good and I like the way the valve covers came out. Keep the updates coming.

Nice work John! Looks like it's going to be a killer car!

My vote is to keep the drip rails.

I test fitted the motor the other day. It barely fits. About 1/2 inch to the firewall
