Does anyone have any collector car insurance companies they would recommend? Right now I'm paying insurance through my Geico policy, but they insure the car based on Bluebook value which is significantly less than what our '67 Camaro is worth.
Hagerty insurance is another one.
I am actually going to transfer my current insurance from Liberty Mutual to Hagerty. It will be the same if not a better policy and be less money!!!
GOOD LUCK!!
If you're not with Tamra Perto from MK insurance, you're probably paying too much...check with the guys @ www.yenko.net all the heavy hitters use her services.I pay less than $500/yr for $180K of agreed-to value on my 3 rides,I've had Haggerty & Grundy before.

They also are more tolerant than Hagerty, of safety equipment such as roll bars/cages/harnesses, being in the car.

Heacock is excellent. I have all my stuff insured with them and have also handled claims from them being the repair shop. Being on the claims side if things and seeing how they do not balk at require cost, I am VERY impressed. While I have not dealt with claims from all agencies, I can assure it is NOT always pleasant dealing with claims.
