you want to look for a high solids clear, ppg should have some they prefer for restoration etc. Anything scratch resistant is going to be a mutha to sand and buff, unless you do it within a few days of spraying.

If you ever try Matrix AG-40 with very slow or slow hardener, you will never want to spray anything else, it tacks almost just as fast as with fast hardener but flows out and lays like glass with no die-back,

AG-40 AUTOGLAS EURO DESIGN CLEARCOAT
AG-40 is a 2:1 European style designed clear formulated for applications requiring a eurostyle premium appearance. This high solid clear with excellent flow and leveling will dry to a glass-like finish in air dry or forced dry applications. It has excellent weathering capability.

i used DC4000 on my black mustang. with 2 heavy coats sanded flat it gave it a nice deep shine. had no problems with it running or solvent popping. But dont hesitate to start sanding as soon as its done curing because it turns rock hard after a day or too. I used the VC5200 on some small parts on my project car and had great results during the cold season with the proper hardener but when i used the same hardener in warmer weather i had horrible results ... endless solvent popping. I would recommend either the 2021 or 4000 they both have a great hold out and rub out easily
