Default What big summer event to go to?

Power Tour is too far away this year and I can't get enough time off so that is out. I will be taking the wife and 3yo daugher so will are going to throw the car on the trailer, the BBQ, icechest and wagon in the back of the truck. I want to go to a big out of town event thats close enough to get to in 2 days from Dallas. The plan is haul ass there cruise and enjoy the show all weekend and haul ass home. I am thinking Goodguys Columbus. Good idea? Someone have a better idea? Thanks for any input.

GG Columbus sounds like a good choice to me. Alot of good cars, autocross, and a few mulletts!

Columbus is the best show in the Country. I fly 2600 miles to be there every year and always blown away by the car count, car quality and the general who's who of the industry that is always there.

SpeedWeek should be on everyone's "bucket list" too.

Columbus is a great meeting spot.

AND there are alot of Lateral-g guys there too.

Dinner Friday night with Rodger and his steak eating buddies (an every year event that is getting bigger and bigger every year).

Daytime the who's who and the under cover (maybe you won't recognize me) are all wandering around looking at a GREAT collection of cars and of course there are the hotels at night where you might just spend an hour and a half chatting up Kyle or Schwartz on the casual.
The daytime show is great and the nightime is very cool too.
