Newb w/ different platform - Lateral-g Forums

Hello all! Been looking for a place like this for a while.

I am currently in the planning stage of my project, a 1976 Chevy 1/2t 2wd shortbed pickup. I'm not too sure about the specifics but I am planning on a supercharged BBC, manual trans, and I want it to HANDLE.

I am originally from Oklahoma, but am spending a few years in Germany. I shipped the truck over here with me, and drive it daily. Whenever I am able to get back stateside is when the project will start. Until then I will be doing alot of research, planning and parts buying.

I will have a few questions, but mostly will be lurking, searching, and learning.

Welcome!! There are a couple-few cool trucks being built on here right now that should interest you...enjoy!

Nice, I love the square body trucks. There was a thread somewhere where Lou Santiago from MuscleCar was doing a square body. It was a full frame build with around 5 inch ride height. Maybe somebody could post a link for inspiration. He goes by Luckin Fou on some of these sites.
