Default Look what I did today!!!

Well, I knew it was gonna have to happen sooner or later. We had to put all that baby furniture together. As you can see, the room was just piled with baby stuff and the furniture was in boxes. We are excited to announce that our first little girl will be home in about 2 months!

If you don't know what you are looking at in the picture of the instructions, look at all the screws that I had to install by hand with a screw driver! It would have been worth it to run to the shop and get some tools, at least a drill!

For all of those that will have to put furniture together in the future, be prepared and have some real tools! I was stuck with the "home use tools." You know the kind of screwdriver that has the 2 - 2 sided tips in the front? That's the one I'm talking about.

In the last picture, as I was taking it, it really started to sink in that I'm am almost a daddy! Hence, I have to be a good one. So check the posters out. That room used to be the home office. I'll just put up more posters in the new office.

Thanks for asking, she's doing great! Happy and trouble free except she's getting around a little slower due to our daughter getting bigger!

And the walls are staying white or whatever that is. If the baby wants color, the fan is baby themed with different colored pastel blades, she's more than welcome to look at that! LOL! I am not big on doing the whole baby thing, that's what the wife is for. She's in the "nesting" phase and just really needed that room put together so she could do her motherly thing with it. Besides, there is a House of Kolor poster right above the crib!

Congrats Micah! It's a great time.

I remember converting our office into a nursery for my daughter almost 4 years ago. It really sinks in when you finish it up and stand in the doorway looking at the crib and changing table.

As soon as I finish up my daughter's new room upstairs, I'll be redoing that room again for our new son. 2 months left....clock's ticking. And yes, it's a car room!
