Default 80' Trans Am S/E? Did I get a good deal?

I just bought an 80' Trans Am true special edition car with a 400 poncho installed and the original 301T comes with it. The car is all original except the drivers fender. Getting it for $2500 cash. The car is in amazing condition with the only real rust in the door jamb area. Trunk lid is rusted but he is giving me another one with it. So how did I do?

Also, check out that kick ass 76 GMC Sprint in the background, it is for sale also if anyone wants it! Contact me and I can give you his info. Car is a 400ci and decked out with options.

So what should I call it? Thinking about Project "Bird Is The Word."

I would say you did pretty good as long as it is not rusted to heck underneath.

I would not bother to even haul the 301 home though, you can't give those things away, I know, I have one in the garage.

You have lots of work ahead of you but, I paid more for one in worse shape, though it was a 78 400/4 speed, but that's meaningless if its getting the full treatment.

Lol yeah, definitely happy with this one, she looks like a keeper!

Shouldn't need too much. Underside of the car is completely rust free. When I get the car home tonight I am going to put up alot of pics and start a project page.

Also hopefully should be on the road this weekend, great T-Top weather

Anyone have any names?

Not bad. Get all the 301T parts. People are starting to look for the turbo parts. You'll be able to sell the parts down the road
