Default New Project I just picked up last weekend

Here is a 1974 Plymouth Scamp I just picked up last weekend. This thing will get the total modern-muscle treatment with a 3rd gen 426 Hemi packing a Vortech or Pro-Charger Supercharger, a Nag1 or Tremec trans, and it already has a ford 9" rear in it. Suspension mods on the way are a Jamison Fabrication Tubular K-Member with adjustable control arms and a triangulated 4 link rear suspension. The interior will get a full black out with bucket seats a custom center console and Nav unit.

The paint will be switched around a bit with the two tone going from grey and green to Black and Blue and there will be small body mods to modernize the look of the car (shortening the bumpers, shaving the antenna, removing the drip rails)

She should be done for Power Tour 2010

Another cool car. I'll be watching this one go through the transformation.
It should haul some a$$ with a supercharged hemi in it!

Is "Modern Muscle" a business name? Is there a web site?

Great looking start for a project car !!! From the pics, it looks very clean already. I see the MO. plate on the back, was the car originally from MO. ? Hemi powered in a Scamp......I'll bet you end up sending Tirerack plenty of business.......

Thats the whole reason I picked it up. It's got 2 little rust spots but they are tiny. The car has 27k original miles on it and was bought at an estate sale and the car was brought out to Power Tour last year with the new paint and the wheels. Powered by the 225 Slant 6 she gets 20 MPG and gets passed by everything on the road. I have been saving new gen hemi parts for a year now and I already have 60% of the engine (including the supercharger mounting brackets) but I still need to save a few bucks for the trans and PCM. I'm still considering using the drive-b-wire throttle body or swapping to a blow through carb on E85 set-up.

Yes modern-muscle is our business name and we will be sponsoring the forums as soon as I find out who to talk to about it.
