Agreed but i know we all have strictly drag cars is that what this is what is the overall distance that it can travel without being recharged. Not bashing just curious.

I find this very interesting but I have some reservations about his non-pollution claims. Would it not depend on how the electricity to recharge your car is produced ?
If you recharge your battery from a coal fired power plant, how can you claim your "electric" car does not pollute ?
And if your plant is oil fired, it's probably foreign oil. And we all know about nuclear as well ........
And of course, if your battery ends up in a Chinese or Indian "recycling center", does that count as pollution if it is in another country ?
The manufacturing of the batteries itself is a huge mess. That is why Subaru has not joined the Hybrid club. And when those batteries are done they NEVER go away.
Don't get me werong, I am not a bunny hugger, but those batteries are nasty for the environment from start to finish. All those Prius owners have no idea they are actually making things worse.
