Default Aluminum Center Console

Would anyone have an interest in these aluminum center consoles? We built one, and had several other people come in and want the same thing for their cars. So, we made a buck and all the templates to be able to produce them fairly quickly.

All aluminum
TIG welded and metal finished
Kind of a universal piece that works well in Chevelles/GTO's/A-Bodies, Camaros, and Novas.

Dimensions:
44" overall length
7.25" wide at front and then widens to 8.75"
3" tall at the front and then goes to 8" (We left the bottom long so it can be trimmed to fit any car and any desired height.)
Shifter Hole is 17" (Center of hole) from the front edge

It is shown with a 1/4" aluminum shift bezel that incorporates an Engine Start Button and also with a matching bezel for 4 power window switches. This one also has a recessed area with real carbon fiber insert.

It will be offered in 3 stages:
1. Blank Center Console
(Plain, no holes, no bezels, no carbon. You put what you want where you want it)

2. As shown
(Including power window switches)

3. Custom - incorporate gauges, stereo, a/c controls, cup holders, etc...

I've been thinking about a console. Was planning to have one made by a local custom interior shop. Can it be brushed and what is the price point approx?

That looks pretty sweet. I would think you could sell quite a few.

The blank version would be in the $500 - $600 range. As shown would be in the $800 - $1,000 range. And the custom consoles would have to be determined by what you were looking for.

Here is a picture of the console above that was wrapped in leather.

Thie is another version that we did with molded in gauges and a billet iPod case.
