Default HRE value question...

I have the opportunity to purchase some HRE 20" rims with Pilot SX tires that have never been down the road... The rims and tires were used for mocking on a project and are supposed to be Corvette backspacing. The tire sizes are 275/35/20 and 245/40/20.

What is a set of these rims worth complete with the tires????

What Chris said here above.
Also, I know that HRE's are pretty expensive wheels. But, call them and talk to someone about the EXACT wheel you are looking at.

I guess I didn't make make myself clear in asking my question sorry... I have the opportunity to buy these wheels as used wheels and would be looking for a value as a used wheel,,,, not as a new wheel.

But knowing what they are new can help you judge a fair used price. What's he asking for them with the tires?

I have the opportunity to buy them relatively cheap compared to what he paid a few years ago (he supposedly paid 10k at the time).... They were brought over to my place and I frankly thought they were 18" when discussed only to find out they are 20".....

That said I'm not that interested in them for my project and will try to help him sell them for 4K (rims and tires all inclusive) plus shipping etc...

If anyone is interested they can contact me and I'll send more photos if necessary etc.... The rims and tires did not get used other than to mock on a project he has been building for years.... Now he whats to go to a much a larger rim on that project so these are for sale...

$4K sounds like a good deal to me, but I'm not familiar with HRE's pricing. It's easy to drop $4K on a set of 18" wheels now days.

$10k for them new? I highly doubt that....

The Monobloks are their most expensive new wheel I believe and can be had for less than $2000 each.

$4k seems a bit high to me. HRE is great quality though IMO.

What series ? R (reveresed lip design) or old stepped lip? Chrome or painted centers? Stepped lip wheels run about $800 a piece and few hundred bucks more per wheel on R-series .

If he paid 10k for theese wheels, he got robbed, especially with the sizes you posted, I do not remember the cost on my chrome HRE 540R 20x13 and 20x11 with Pirelli 345/25,285/30,but it wasn't wasn't even near that

average going price on clean set of HRE wheels is around 3k,give or take a couple hundred there is not much price difference between 18-20"
