Default 3 inch Exhaust with quadra link

I was looking for pics of some 3 inch exhaust work with A Detroit speed Quadra link, but couldn't find anything. It obviously is A tight fit.Very ride height dependent. We managed to get it to work. Its A big horsepower turbo car so we were hell bent on staying with 3 inch tailpipes.I would like to share the photos with anyone who is remotely interested.Another main reason for this posting was the owner of this Camaro just went through "the brutal divorce" this car is about the only thing that survived.Hes A Lateral G member hopefully he gets on here and chimes in.He has always been excited about this car, trying to bring more of it back.

Turbo car.All the testing I have done there is nothing to be had. This is with A 2.1 pressure ratio(bleeding each header bank separate)

I don't want to hijack the thread -- but what you're saying is that a turbo or forced induction car doesn't need a X pipe because the exhaust gases are PUSHED out of the cylinder etc -- rather than a non FI car that is filling the cylinders with atmosphere - and can use the help of the X over pipe to "scavenge" so exhaust??

Makes sense - and I know you didn't SAY that - I'm inferring it from your response... So is this "true" or "false"?? Or "sort of"?

Yea on A turbo car with back pressure I haven't seen any gains.Blower cars are different I still use different scavenging tech-nicks.I balance the engine banks by plumbing each waste gate separately not common plumbing. In reality its hard to do with A common intake plenum, but I cheat by recording turbo wheel speed. This is how I balance the engine pressure ratios.I have seen gains with this.Scavenging I think the same way as you but figured what the hell lets put an x pipe on her and see what happens. All my years of drag racing has taught me to throw out theoretical ideas, and go with the off the wall stuff.LOL

Hey, I've always been curious about how low you can actually go with the Quadra Link and have it still function the way it should. You said on this car you are "ride height dependent"--does that mean it sitting really low---if so, wondering if I could PM you a couple of questions---
