Default New guy in Las Vegas

Been lurking for a while, but this is my first post. Been working on a 1969 Firebird for a while now and it's finally coming together. Started with pretty much a body with no drive train and built it from there. Went with a pontiac 400, tremec tko 500, 3.23 10 bolt posi in the rear. Converted the 4 wheel drums to discs. Kore 3 C5 up front and 3rd gen f-body in the rear. Did almost all of the bodywork at home other than actually spraying the paint and clear, Don't think the neighbors would have appreciated it! Just got it driveable in the last month or so and still need to finish the interior.

Welcome "officially" to Lat G--this is a great place. Great looking bird---there seems to be a few pictures missing inbetween the first and second one!

You are in good company with Todd and AJ in close proximity---btw, if you want to convert to a chevy motor, there is a short block for sale nearby--

Put up more pics of your car when you can--very cool color on it.

Doug

Always good to have a new member here. Even better when it another addition to the Vegas crew!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Here's a couple more pics of it during the restore. I really wanted to stay away from putting a chevy in it. Seems that's what's everyone doing anymore. Actually was a pain putting together the pontiac motor, sorta getting scarce out here. I think it was worth it in the end.
