Default Aod

Are you refering to the Ford AOD or any brand AOD? For Ford's I would say PA was good a brand. I used some of there stuff. Phoenix seams to have some good stuff now. For GM's it really depends on what engine is in front of it and what options you want. Names that come to mind are Monster, Bowler, and Phoenix. Might want to clarify if its a GM, Mopar or Ford AOD tranny.

whoops yeah i should have said what brand. Looking for an AOD for an LS3. like a 4L65 or 85 that won't blow up with 700hp in front of it.

With 700 hp I would say you would want the 4l85 model. I would check out the 3 part series that High Performance Pontiac just did on swapping one in a second gen bird. Other than some programming and the adapter plate (which you wouldn't need) it would work in your application. Or you could step up to the 6L80E six speed model that just came out. I am not sure on the support yet for this model. I am sure that if you do a search here you will find something on it.
