Default Glass recomendation

Im hunting for glass for my 69 camaro build and really can't decide if I should go with the smoke kit or stock tint. The car will be gm torch red with gloss black hockey sticks. Its tough to get an idea of how dark the smoke is, if any one has a pic of a red car with the smoked windows please post up.

Also, any recommedations for auto city classics for glass, there running a special now for 399.00 and that sounds cheap, wondering about the quality of there glass. I really almost exclusively try to use the sponsors of this site but this price sounds to good to be true- Thoughts?

Thanks Rich

Thumbs up

You might want to look into the smoked kits that Prodigy Customs (Frank) sells. I (along with several others) have a set and I love them. They are nice and dark (not limo tint dark) during the day and easy to see out of if driving at night.

Here is a picture of the smoked glass from Auto City Classic Inc (Sorry Frank!). The guys at the shop paid $561.50 for the windshield, doors, quarters and back glass on 13 Jan 09.

My recommendation, regardless of the vendor is to go with smoked glass…it will go very well with your red paint and black accents

Hope this helps,

Mark

I bought some smoked glass from ACC, a full set, entire car. Great glass, good shipping. Its PPG glass. Came on a huge pallet properly packaged and it was inexpensive.

Now... With that. If I had known Frank also deals in glass and the prices are similar I would go that route. Why?? Customer support. Not that I needed any or there was any issues. But Frank is local (here) and available for any issues.

And besides all that, gotta support the guys that support us here if given a chance. JR
