Default Sparco Torino 2 vs Corbeau CR1

http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_street.asp?id=195

vs

http://corbeau.com/products/reclining_seats/cr1/

I was wondering what you guys thought about each of these quality wise. Im considering going with the Corbeaus because i can get them in wide and suede for 100 bucks cheaper than the Sparcos and the Sparcos aren't offered in the microsuede.

What do you guys think?

I wouldnt buy either without sitting in them first.

I have Coreau's VX2000's and like em. I got the wide version, felt like shopping in the big/tall section and I'm 34" waist. The regular's were too narrow. A local Corbeau dealer had all the seats to test out before I bought them.

I have the CR1's in wide in my '69..... they are very comfortable and I am happy with them. I'm 6'3 and around 210 and they fit nice.

My only negative comments.... the fabric is starting to fade in the sun after 5 years....with it only being out during the summer at car shows and cruises etc....so not a ton of sun time.

In general, the Corbeaus do have a slightly "cheap feel" to them.... the fabric is kinda rough etc. Lint and hair etc sticks to it like glue and is a pain to get off....lint brushes, finger nails etc etc....But overall is a good seat for the $$. No major complaints but...

My impression of the Sparco seats is that they are more expensive but you do get a better seat for the $$.

I'm looking for seats too, and I'm leaning towards doing Sparco this time, but still may go Corbeau.

And I totally agree with Rob.....make sure you sit in the version you want to get....you cant tell sh*t from a pix....you have to sit in them. Find a local dealer or someone that has them and "test sit" them. I had some I thought I wanted until I sat in them and changed my mind right away.
