Default >>> FS Callies Magnum crank set up for ZR1 clutch assembly w/ LS9 8 bolt flange

No longer for sale...see last post

Title says it all. Why pay $1500 for an LS9/ZR1 clutch conversion kit to mount to your 6 bolt crankshaft when you can buy this Custom 8 bolt Callies Magnum LS crankshaft that allows a direct bolt on of the ZR1 clutch assembly. (Not included.... approx $653 from forum vendors)

This crankshaft was a custom order that retains the factory stroke allowing anyone building a forged LS1, LS2,LS3 or LS6 motor to have a Callies MAGNUM forged crankshaft plus a ZR1 clutch for not much more than what others charge just for the clutch conversion.

This cranshaft is over 12 lbs lighter than stock and did I mention its FORGED!

NOTE: This crankshaft does NOT have the long snout required to work with LS7 "dret sump" systems.

Crank Specs...

Part Number : APZ31V-MG

Stroke : 3.622

Main Diameter : 2.559

Pin Diameter : 2.100

Rod length: uses 6.125" connecting Rod

Flange : 6 Bolt LS-1 converted to 8 Bolt LS9

Balanced: for 1650 gram bob weight

what you will need to complete the conversion ( prices are from Scoggin Dickey website)

1) LS9 flywheel ( part# 12598613) $190
2) LS9 clutch ( Part# 24237568) $463
3) LS9 Master ( part# 24251645) $98

You get your choice of a NEW 24 tooth or 58 tooth reluctor wheel installed. Crankshaft still has the factory storage/shipping coating applied and will be shipped in the factory Callies bumblebee packaging.

The last Magnum "off the shelf" crankshaft I purchased for my LS7 was $1850 ( and retailed for over $2250). This custom unit cost far more to have made.

My project direction has changed. So,....$1350 gets it shippoed to your front door!

Thanks Kevin,

I take it the LS7 intake and parts arrived OK. sorry I didn't call back , my 3.5 year old son was about to jump off a 10' pile of snow to the ground. I had to let you go.

Keep us posted on your build.

Yup, the intake made it safe and sound..
as for the ls7, I need to sack up and buy a set of heads. I think it will, have to wait until summer, I have too much going on right now with work and home renovations.. anyway, I am done highjacking.

This beauty is still available. Most likely toss it up for auction over the weekend. Daddy needs an external second stage dry sump pump for the LS7.

This would make a great high RPM road racing crankshaft that makes use of the best stock clutch GM has ever made..the ZR1!

Default No longer available....

Thanks to Nightstalker and Black06vette for pointing out that this crank has the improper # of holes ( 8 vs. stock 9 bolt) for a ZR1 clucth.

The crank will be returned to Callies and either refunded or remade.

Sorry for any confusion or if anyone was mislead. Its just one of those things, you would not think would be missed by a company of Callies caliber.

seems to happen to more than one of us...
