Default 70 Chevelle Project

Just picked this badboy up today and the best part was I drove it home!! Has a rebuilt 355 with a nice cam and runs great. Not sure what the plans are yet, probably going to sand down the body and paint it flat black(primer). Now I need to figure out a way to tell my mom about it lol..
It has new tires and a few other new parts also.

So is this one a keeper or do you plan on flipping it as well? Looks like a good start

Most likely a flip but I am definitely going to hang on to it through summer. It's a street legal car so I actually have a reason to hang onto it unlike my 73 Camaro. It was really fun driving it home today and I enjoyed the attention lol, makes me miss my old T/A.

Thumbs up

Very cool. If I wasn't so hell bent on doing a '69 Camaro, I'd like to do a '70 Chevelle.
GOOD LUCK!

5 hole enkie's...my favorite old school rim! Damn.

I am being honest too

Take it to Earl Schribes or USA paint and have them spray it white. Quick and easy.

Lol I would never leave you guys...

Next week I am going to sand the whole car but the roof and some of the quarters then prime them. Once I really sat down and looked at the car, it's basically ready to go for paint. Just has a dent on the roof and needs the trunk drop off on both sides patched. It also needs a hood since the one on it is kinda funky.

What I love about this car is there are NO WIRES!!! God I hate electrical so much.

Sounds like a good one to work with. Lucky to find one that does not have a huge rats nest of wiring under the dash. I had so much in mine that I just started grabbing and ripping them out. It all gets replaced anyway.

Hey Trey, car looks good. Lucky find. By the way, I have a few left over parts in case you might be interested in some stuff. Shoot me a PM if interested and I'll look and see what I got.
