Default Swapping turbo 350 for t-56.....help

Well my TH350 broke. And my 68 camaro is down...Time to go with a 6 speed. I've been doing my homework. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on...I want to use my original 327 block. I'm suppose to purchase a freshly rebuilt t-56 out of a '97 camaro. My inquiry is, is there any possible issues that these write ups don't mention? Will I have any issues with my tunnel hump or my factory front bench? Is there a step-by-step write up out there?

Im not sure about the bench seat clearance but you will probably have to modify the tunnel for the transmission to fit. Shifter location will likely be an issue with the bench seat. In my opinion it would be worth the trouble to make it fit. The difference will be night and day between the TH350 and the T56
