Default Thoughts on gear selection - T56 Magnum: 3.89 or 4.11?

I am going to run a T56 Magnum behind my 402ci LS2 engine, and I'm trying to decide which rear gear I want to use. I'll be using the 2.66 1st gear / 0.62 6th gear Magnum.

My primary interest in selecting my rear gear is performance on the road course during HPDE's and possibly an occasional autox. I was planning to run the 3.89's, but with the closer ratios of the 2.66 1st gear Magnum, I'm leaning more towards the 4.11's.

My last T56 experience with a 2.97 1st gear, 0.50 6th gear, and I ran that one with 4.56's. Of course, that engine was designed to spin decidedly higher rpms than this one. This engine was built to peak around 6200-6300, so I won't spin it much past 6500. And I'll be using either a 315/30/18 or a 335/30/18 rear tire which comes out to about a 25" or 26" diameter tire...

Any thoughts are welcome... I know several people here are running similar setups, so I'd love to hear about your combination and your thoughts on your gear selection.
